Dagwood's Pub - A Seafood Pub with Delicious Food and Great Service in Philadelphia, PA

GREAT MENU AND STAFF. AWESOME DECOR TOO. Guinness was perfect and the dirty martini was on point. Didn't get any food but the menu is vast and nicely priced. It's a little loud in the bar area, but that's a busy bar for ya.

The food was delicious. Especially the wings and meatballs. The mozzarella sticks were huge and tasty. Try the butter cake dessert with ice cream . So good. Me and my group of friends were the only black people in the pub but we felt very welcomed and I think they played a few songs just for us haha. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in the neighborhood again. Great place to watch the eagles games too

First time here. Food: everything I ordered was very delicious. The mini crab cakes were one of the best I've had - no fillers - just a little bit pricey. Service: I arrived when they were a bit busy and there was a luncheon upstairs. Overall, the service was good, and the server made sure to check on me throughout my meal. Ambiance: There was music playing in the background, inside, which is on the louder side. There is an option to sit outside as well

Went for a late lunch, party of 5! Probably waited about 10 minutes for a table. Appetizers came out quickly. Server was friendly. We liked the vibe in there. The sandwiches were good, but they did not knock it out of the park. The salad and the chicken finger platter were a good portion size. Will certainly return again!

Our server was very prompt and on top of things! One of the most efficient ive had. The food came out quickly and the burgers were cooked correctly! The fried pickles were some of the best I've had and the oysters were so fresh and delicious:) I will definitely return here more frequently

Verns bone in wings will change your life. Swear to God. Seafood mac is Outstanding. Many Excellent menu items.

Outstanding first time visit! Randomly stopped in while passing through the area and instantly knew I’d want to come back. Bartender Kerri was very attentive, polite, and graciously made several off-menu cuke margaritas for my BF after we watched her make one for someone else. As for the food … we were blown away. The she-crab soup was very rich and loaded with shredded crab chunks. The bay fries were heavily seasoned, and they were incredible. We tried the Clams Casino after reading many other reviews and we were not disappointed. The shining star was the crab cakes. Zero filler! Kerri told us that the she-crab soup is used as the binding agent in the crab cakes, and we were intrigued. The entire experience exceeded all expectations, and we will be back!

3rd time visiting Dagwoods and it's always a home run! This local pub has all of your favorites and their bartender / servers are friendly and attentive. Nothing like their homemade shecrab soup on a chilly day and their crab cakes are made with lump crab meat and NO FILLER! This time I decided to try their Meatball sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! it comes on a nice seeded roll and the flavor was outstanding!
